Discarded to Devine” at the deYoung Museum in Golden Gate Park is a fashion show and auction that showcases the talents and work of local designers who transform discarded items into one-of-a-kind garments, accessories and home decor creations which are then auctioned off April 9th at Gensler, 2 Harrison, 6-9pm to benefit St. Vincent de Paul Society’s programs. My repurposed materials wall sculpture CD Rominatrix will be on view at the deYoung Preview and then featured in the live auction at Gensler. The deYoung event is free.
